1. eNlight Cloud Application in Nutshell

eNlight Cloud is complete indigenously built intelligent cloud platform that provides the best performance to a virtual Server. Our newly developed eNlight Mobile APP gives mobility to bring their servers at their fingertips. eNlight Mobile APP provides a real time insight into the status of any of your servers’ resources & its usage graphs that shows trends overtime. This mobile app is built for android that establishes a direct connection between customers & their servers irrespective of their location.

It will provide you the complete control of computing capacity for your machines. Likewise eNlight Cloud; its mobile application can create a server within seconds and thus install your application within minutes with resources allocated as per your application load automatically. Along with this user will able to Stop, Start, Reboot, Rename, Re-size, display total list and rebuild your Servers on the fly. With eNlight Cloud Mobile APP you can know exactly what’s going on with your cloud infrastructure wherever you are, whenever you want – don’t feel tied to your desk to keep tabs on your cloud.

2. Getting started with eNlight Cloud APP Dashboard

Existing eNlight Cloud users & new users can login into their android smartphones by downloading eNlight Cloud Mobile App from Google Play store. After successful downloading & installation of the app, click on the eNlight Mobile APP logo which will appear on your smartphone’s screen.

Over click on eNlight APP logo, user will see eNlight Mobile APP’s Flash Screen as mentioned at the right side of corner: Refer Screen Fig [2] [eNlight Cloud Splash Screen]

3. eNlight Cloud Login Panel

A click on eNlight Cloud application will open eNlight Cloud Splash screen as mentioned in Fig [1] & within few seconds eNlight Cloud user will see eNlight Cloud Login Panel Screen as shown Screen .Refer Fig[3][eNlight Cloud Login Screen]

As shown in the figure, there are total three fields; to open & utilize the applications’ functionality you have to follow 4 Steps

Step 1: Enter your Billing web portal’s [e.g. http://www.esds.co.in/billing/ ] email ID in to the respective field.

Step 2: Enter your Billing web portal’s Password [as per your email Id]. Over a click on Billing Password text box user will see a check box namely “Show Billing Password”. If user selects this check box then then will able view their entered password this will help user to avoid the typographical mistakes while entering their billing password.

Step 3: Enter your 5 digit transaction password

Step 4: Click on Login Now button for successful login. On a successful Login validation by system application user will see following VM loading List Screen along with Login Successful display message:

What is Transaction Password?

This is one of the important feature that eNlight Cloud is providing i.e. single sign on Its 5 digit alphanumerical password which is you will require for login session & VM related critical Transaction [such as Create VM, Start/Stop/Re-Start, and Edit VM etc.]This Secure method avoids a number of shortcomings that are linked with Traditional Password methods. 4. Understanding eNlight VM List Panel

On a successful login transaction, you will see Virtual Servers’ list Panel where you will see a detail list of Virtual Servers generated by you. As shown in the Fig; to cognize this section’s functionality it has been divided in several subsections & those are:

  • Search Unit
  • VM Select Unit
  • eNlight Cloud Alert Message Unit
  • Main Menu Unit

Every subsections of VM List Panel mentioned above are explained below thoroughly:

a. Search Unit

Using this feature you will able to find any particular server from the entire list of generated servers by just entering Servers' Display Name or IP. To search any specific Virtual Server from the list click on this Search Icon & you will see Following Screen:

b. VM Select Unit

This subsection displays an entire list of existing Virtual Servers generated under your account. For better understanding of newly developed features this section is divided into 3 sub sections namely:

1. Swipe down to Refresh

2. VM Display

3. Long Press Tap on VM

4. VM Resource Usage

To open & utilize this functionality click on any particular Virtual Server & it will display besides shown screen.

1. Swipe down to Refresh

Over a successful login, user will see a VM list window wherein they will also observe Swipe Down to refresh white Pop-up box. This will let user to restore the VMs enlisted under relevant account.

2. VM Display

As described in above Screen; this VM list includes VM Display Name followed by its unique IP address & lastly it also displays a list of all the types of VMs i.e. VM s which are in Active, Inactive & Suspended State. To know the current status of the Virtual Server easily; they are distinguished by assigning diverse color code bar in front of VM display Name under VM List Panel.

These different states are defined as follow:

a : Active VMs are shown in Green Vertical Bar

b : Inactive VMs are shown in Red Vertical Bar

c : Suspended VMs are shown in Gray Vertical Bar

For Example: test another VM 115.124.125.87 [eNlight Cloud VM List Panel-VM Select Unit]. Along with this it provides a link [eNlight Cloud VM List Panel- VM Select Unit] to the user to perform various operations over that selected Virtual server. Click on this link will open a VM Resource Usage Panel of that relevant server which described in the following Section in detail.

3. VM Long Press Event on VM Display

This user friendly function avails user a very easy to use & convenient for the user to perform their VM related operations on the fly. Over a long press on VM Display Name & IP system application will show a Vertical List of features along with respective feature related Icon. This vertical feature list shows an easy & alternate route to perform various respective VM related operations at the instant instead of following a traditional mode. To recognize & utilize this functionality user should perform following steps:

Step 1 : Tap long or press longer than usual on any particular Server under VM list Panel; this action will display following drop down vertical VM operation list :

a. Copy Name-IP

b. Create Ticket

c. Stop VM

d. Restart VM

e. Start VM

Step 2 : Click/tap on first operation namely Copy Name-IP; it will copy the name & unique IP of selected Server, this copied Server Name-IP user will able to paste it on any Applications’ clipboard. Over a click on Copy Name-IP action; system application will display “Copied to Clipboard Successfully” message. Using this user will able to message or save particular server Name along with its IP within few seconds.

Step 3 : Click/tap on second operation namely Create Ticket; as the name signifies user will able to generate a ticket for notifying any event or any query they have regarding to their action or servers. So, over a click on Create Ticket action user will able to view following window:

Step 4 : Enter the Ticket Subject; select the priority of the ticket from the given option list which is Normal, Medium, High, Urgent, and Emergency. After this if user desires to write any further explanation in reference to the ticket then they will note down it under Description field & lastly click on Submit Button.

Step 5 : Enter your 5 digit Transaction Password [e.g. B5678] then click on Proceed button to confirm this action. On this action system application will generate a ticket & unique Ticket Id & user will see following pop up window:

Step 6 : Click on VM start operation to start your stopped VM. Click on Stop & re-start operation to stop functionality of the current running server & to restart the running server respectively.

4. VM Resource Usage Panel

As mentioned in above subsection [c] over a click of a particular Server you will see VM resource Usage Panel which is very important. In this section we will see how you can manage your owned server & perform actions on them such as Edit VM, VM Start, Stop and Re-start. Along with this you will able to monitor Real Time Utilization of selected server’s resources. To open & utilize this functionality follow below enlisted steps:

Step 1 : Click on any particular Server under VM list Panel; this action will lead you to view the selected Servers’ Resource Usage Panel. As showed [eNlight Cloud VM List Panel-VM Resource Usage Panel]; VM Resource Usage Panel is divided in to 3 Sections to understand its functionality in detail. These sub sections namely are:

I. VM Resource Usage Tachometer

a : VM Name: This field represents the name of you VM which you have set at the time of VM Creation.

b : RAM: Current RAM usage and RAM Attached to the VM will be shown.

c : CPU: Current CPU usage and total attached CPU will be shown.

d : Data/Min [Data per Minute]: Current Bandwidth Usage of the VM

e : HDD: Disk space assigned to your VM.

II. Edit VM

Step 1: Click on Edit icon & you will see following Edit VM Screen.

Step 2: As shown in Fig [VM Resource Usage Panel-Edit VM], you will able to modify existing VM Display Name.

Step 3: Let’s have brief look on two possible Conditions
Condition 1: If your server’s Auto-Scale option is enabled; then you will able to change your respective servers’ MIN & MAX Resource values.

Condition 2: If your Server’s Auto-Scale option is disabled; then you will able to change your Server’s Auto-Scale Option to Enable & according to your requirement you can adjust the MIN & MAX values of respective Server’s resources.

Step 4: Click on Save Changes button & you will see following screen

Step 5: Enter your 5 digit Transaction Password [e.g. B5678] then click on Proceed button to confirm this action. On this action the changes made of respective server will be saved.

III. VM Operations

This section displays you a variety of VM related operation Icons & each one of them signifies functionality diversity. These VM related operations are shown

Every single VM related operation is equally important hence they are described below in detail:

1 : Stop VM With this functionality you will able to stop all the operations of selected Server under your account. After this action the respective server will go into the Inactive mode where you will not able to perform any activities on respective server. Follow below enlisted steps to execute Stop VM functionality:

Step 1: Click on Stop Icon; on this action you will see mentioned Transaction Password Screen

Step 2: Enter your 5 digit Transaction Password [e.g. B5678] then click on Proceed button to confirm this action. On this action your respective server will go in Stop State.

2 : Start VM : If your Server currently is in Stop State then with this functionality you will able to start your Server whenever you want. With this functionality your server will be active & you will able to monitor & perform all the activities/operation on the respective Server. Follow below enlisted steps to execute this functionality:

Step 1: Click on Start Icon, on this action you will see Transaction Password Screen:

Step 2: Enter your 5 digit Transaction Password [e.g. B5678] then click on Proceed button to confirm this action. On this action your respective server will go in Start State & will display VM Started Successfully message.

3 : Re-Start VM :

Step 1: Click on Re-Start Icon, on this action you will see Transaction Password Screen

Step 2:Enter your 5 digit Transaction Password then click on Proceed button to confirm this action. On this action your respective server will reload the Server & its resources & will display VM Re- Started Successfully message.

c. eNlight Cloud Alert Message Unit

This section i.e. eNlight Cloud Messaging service provide essential notifications to the user regarding to their servers’ health. That is user will receive an alert report whenever their servers’ are down or up or their services are being damage or repaired. To open, recognize & utilize its functionality use following steps:

Step - 1 : Click on eNlight Cloud Alert Message icon located top right side of the VM list Panel window, user will view following screen

Step - 2 : Over a click on this user will see following Message window where user will view a message from eNlight Cloud Messaging service. This message indicates user that their device has been registered & you will get your servers’ alert or notification messages in case of crisis.

Step - 3 : Using swipe down to Refresh option; user will able to restore present messages list.

Step - 4 : User will able to enable & disable server alert notification on a selecting checkbox namely Notifications.

d. Main Menu Unit

Under VM list Panel, there is a Menu Option which is placed at right side top corner of device, click on this icon & you will see following screen. You will see following features under eNlight APP Menu options:

1. Refresh : Click on this icon you will be able to restore the VM list panel.

2. My Account : Click on this icon will open a pop-up window that will display the detail information about respective clients’ account & its dedicated account manager. This section will display clients’ name, email Id, its respective Account manager name, email Id & contact number in case of emergency.

3. Activity Logs : Click on this icon will open a pop-up window that will display list of latest actions or activities that user has performed on their servers. This activity records list minutes every action such as VM Start, Stop, Restart or Disk Attached/detached etc.

Step 1: From enlisted VM activity logs; click/tap on required VM s’ log & user will see following pop-up window that will display the details of respective VM activity log.

Step 2: Click/tap on back arrow as shown in Fig [VM Activity-2 popup window] to return to the VM activity logs window.

4. Report Screenshot : If you have any doubt/query regarding to the servers or its current status / usage then with this utility you can click on this icon; this feature takes snapshot of current session & will report to the eNlight Mobile APP Support.

5 Help : Click on this icon will open up a web page; this will navigate/assist users to understand the functionalities of this application.

6 Logout : Over a click on this icon you will able to terminate the running session & can exit from eNlight Cloud application.

7 About Us : Click on this icon & it will open eNlight Cloud official Website.

5. Create VM Panel :

Now we are going to learn how to create a Virtual Server inside your Account. To open & utilize this functionality follow below enlisted steps:

Step 1: Click on “CREATE VM” button which placed at bottom left side of VM List Panel. You will see following Create VM form as shown

Step 2: Under this VM form fill in following fields:

a. Display Name: Create Enter the name you want to set for the VM. This name will be shown in your Manage VM Panel.

b. Template List: Select one Template [Operating System] you want for your Virtual Server from the given list. to know the template list click on white Side bar & you will see following Screen

c. Template Details: To know the detail information of selected Operating System [Template], click on this icon. It will show you following Screen

d. Auto-Scale VMTo know the detail information of selected Operating System [Template], click on this icon. It will show you following Screen

Step 3: Once you fill all the mandatory fields as per your requirement click on “CREATE VM”. A Transaction Password light box will appear on your device as shown in following screen:

Step 4: Enter your 5 digit Transaction Password [e.g.U4567] & Click on Proceed Button to confirm your Create VM action.

Step 5: Over a successful Validation you will see “VM Created Successfully” message & you will see newly created VM under VM list Panel.

6. Billing Info Panel :

This functionality will display you’re accounts’ every minute Billing related information like Total Amount Paid, total credits, credit deducted and current balance. To open & utilize this functionality follow below enlisted Steps:

Step 1: Click on Billing Info button on VM List Panel which is placed at bottom corner of your right side.

Step 2: Over a Billing Info click; user will see Billing Information Pop-up window:

As mentioned in above screen you will able to see your eNlight Accounts’ all detail billing Information such as Total Amount Paid, you’re Current Balance, Total credit Added & deducted & lastly Last Recharge amount along with its Date. If you have not recharged your account you will see a message as “Yet to Recharge” in front of Last Recharge Date.

Step 3: Click on Phone Icon will redirect you to our eNlight Cloud Support Team who will resolve any queries regarding to the application
